Role Overview

Tight Line is seeking a Conga CPQ Architect with strong hands-on experience implementing and operating Conga CPQ within Salesforce.

In this role, you will design and maintain scalable CPQ solutions that support complex product catalogs, pricing structures, guided selling, approvals, quote generation, renewals, and integrations with downstream billing systems.

You will work closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to translate business requirements into reliable quote-to-cash automation.

Key Responsibilities

CPQ Architecture & Implementation

• Architect, design, and maintain Conga CPQ solutions integrated with Salesforce Sales Cloud

• Support the full quote-to-cash lifecycle, including product configuration, pricing, quoting, and order/contract creation

• Design scalable CPQ configurations that support advertising, subscription, and SaaS business models

Product Catalog & Pricing

• Design and maintain complex product catalogs, including SKUs, bundles, attributes, and pricing tiers

• Implement pricing logic, discounting models, promotions, and recurring charges

• Configure price rules, price books, and calculation logic

Configuration & Guided Selling

• Build and optimize guided selling flows and configuration rules

• Implement validation logic to ensure accurate and compliant quotes

• Maintain approval workflows and discount governance

Integrations & Quote Generation

• Implement and maintain quote templates (PDF/Word/HTML)

• Integrate CPQ with e-signature platforms (DocuSign / Adobe Sign)

• Manage integrations with billing and finance systems such as Zuora, NetSuite, SAP, or internal billing APIs

Governance & Operations

• Establish CPQ governance including change management, release processes, documentation, and audit controls

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis

• Lead testing strategies including unit, integration, and regression testing

Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Legal teams

• Mentor Salesforce admins and developers on CPQ best practices

• Maintain a CPQ product roadmap and evaluate new Conga releases

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience implementing Conga CPQ in Salesforce

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud

• Experience designing complex product catalogs and pricing models

• Experience implementing guided selling, price rules, and quoting automation

• Experience integrating CPQ with billing systems, ERP, or e-signature tools

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for pricing and quoting logic

• Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and RevOps teams

• Availability to work during core PST business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Conga CPQ Architect certification

• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, or CPQ Specialist

• Experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning, SFDX, or CI/CD tools

• Experience with quote template generation tools (Conga Composer or similar)

• Familiarity with subscription billing and revenue recognition systems

• Experience in SaaS, digital media, or advertising business models
