Senior .NET Engineer+Nodejs

As a Senior .NET Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, building, and evolving scalable systems that power WebMD’s digital health experiences. You’ll lead by example, writing clean, maintainable code, mentoring engineers, and influencing architectural decisions across teams. This is a hands-on role for a systems thinker who thrives in collaborative environments and is passionate about delivering high-impact solutions with technical excellence.
🛠 What You’ll Be Doing
Architect and implement robust, scalable .NET solutions with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability
Lead technical design discussions and contribute to system-wide architectural decisions
Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, product managers, DevOps, and QA to align on goals and deliverables
Champion best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, and observability across the engineering organization
Mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing
Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tooling, and team culture
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and bring forward ideas that elevate our platform and developer experience
Contribute to the evolution of our microservices ecosystem, container orchestration, and event-driven architecture
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience developing enterprise-grade applications using .NET (C#), NodeJs
Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and infrastructure automation
Deep understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL stores (Redis, MongoDB, Couchbase)
Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and event-driven design
Proven track record of supporting high-availability, distributed systems in production
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset toward debugging and optimization
Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor technical concepts to diverse audiences
Passion for mentoring, team collaboration, and fostering an inclusive engineering culture
Bonus Points
Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Experience with domain-driven design and API-first development
