Associate Engineer - ReactJS
Working hours: Full overlap with EST
Responsibilities:
- Develop user-friendly features for web applications, leveraging technologies such as ReactJS, TypeScript, and popular libraries including Redux, React Router, and Tanstack’s React Query. Familiarity with Mantine UI is a plus.
- Coordinate and engage in discussions with the Back-End team to define data models and endpoints necessary for the successful integration of functionality in the Front-End.
- Conduct debugging of web applications currently in production to ensure performance, proper operation, and seamless user experience.
- Embrace a can-do attitude while thriving in an Agile and fast-paced environment, contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail through the creation of detailed and comprehensive tickets, using project management tools such as YouTrack, facilitating effective communication within the development team.
- Identify and proactively address scalability and performance issues to ensure optimal functionality of the web applications.
- Actively participate in project planning, engage in solutions and technical strategy discussions, and contribute to documentation efforts.
- Collaborate with an established team of developers and engage with the operations team to foster seamless integration between development and operations.
- Showcase the ability to complete projects with minimal supervision and direction, demonstrating a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of programming experience with a focus on JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
- Exhibit strong knowledge of JavaScript ecosystem tools and frameworks, including but not limited to React, Node/npm/pnpm.
- Showcase a robust comprehension and proficient utilization of React hooks, including but not limited to useEffect, useRef, and useState. Illustrate a mastery in leveraging these hooks to enhance component functionality, manage side effects, and maintain state efficiently within the application.
- Proficiency in building unit tests to uphold the code quality and documentation standards is highly desired.
