Technical Business Analyst
Location and working time zone: Mexico
The candidate will assist with supporting, maintaining, and refining the Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains (GP) ecosystem, which includes ancillary platforms (billing, invoicing, CRM, etc) integrated to GP, perform analysis of business processes and data, translate business needs into technical requirements, and develop solutions with proper documentation. This person will work closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams to conduct various tests, ensuring that deliverables meet business requirements. This includes developing UAT criteria and test cases for projects.
Requirements:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and the following modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable (billing, invoicing, payments, revenue recognition), Fixed Assets, Collections, and Credit card processing. The candidate must have a deep understanding and working knowledge of the billing/invoicing/payment space, as this is the hub for other integrations within the ERP ecosystem.
- Experience with Great Plains-related integration tools: SmartConnect and Integration Manager
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and writing complex queries, triggers, and stored procedures.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, including collaboration with the business stakeholders, developing UAT criteria, and test cases
- Develop and/or update product solution overviews, FAQs, and user documentation to support project implementation activities
- Experience writing functional and technical specifications and requirements.
- Ability to prioritize assigned tasks and balance multiple deadlines
- Proven ability to demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills
- Communicate effectively with both business and technical staff, conveying complex ideas to various audiences in both verbal and written form
- Ability to understand and document business requirements and processes
- Eager to learn new applications, concepts, technologies, and integrations
- Candidate must demonstrate creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
